Meet Rothenberg Family
Robert and his wife’s continued dedication to education is illustrated by their funding of new texts and text editions for prayer, Torah study and Jewish philosophy. Among their recently published texts are the Koren Mahzor for Yom Ha’atzmaut and Yom Yerushalayim, and many works by Rabbi David Aaron and Rave Dovid Vatch.
Additionally, Robert and a translator are collaborating to create an anthologized work on the revered writings on the Maasei Hashem, Rav Eliezer Ashkenazi, the haggadah and the Torah.
While Robert is proud of his business and philanthropic accomplishments, he is most proud of his family. Robert has three daughters, all alumnae of HAFTR Yeshiva and Midreshet HaRova in Jerusalem, who have expressed an unbridled love for Israel and Judaism and have plans to make aliyah to the Jewish homeland.
Robert’s wife, Helene, practices real estate law in Cedarhurst, N.Y., and has a degree from the Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Mass.
Robert’s eldest daughter is a pediatric intern at Assaf HaRofeh Medical Center in Tel Aviv, having graduated medical school from the Sackler School of Medicine. Her husband, a New Zealand native, works in finance.
Robert’s middle daughter shares her father’s many aspirations for Israel and the Jewish people. She is the director of strategic initiatives at Aleph Beta Academy and director of The Rothenberg Charitable Foundation. Her husband works with an international advertising and marketing company, where he acts as a group manager.
Robert’s youngest daughter is a Queens College graduate and is currently studying to become a dentist. Her husband is studying to become a physical therapist.
